Our supplies aren’t looking good…
I think we’re good for a few more days, but then we’re going to need to go looking for food. I didn’t think we’d get through so much, I guess we’re just used to having the same old portions as we always used to.
We’ve been using a water filter Andy made years ago to make sure the water is clean, and we’ve been boiling it to make sure. Before the uni radio was cut off they ran a story with some scientist who reckoned boiled water would be alright. So on the water front, all is well.
Food wise, we’ll cope until Monday, maybe Tuesday. George hates shopping at the weekend, but I don’t think any of us are relishing the thought of going out into town at the moment….
Keeping it real here, we’re out of bog roll. No one has owned up to it, but when I got up this afternoon, the last had been used. We’ve had to nominate some hand towels to the task of – well, you know. Once used they’ll be washed in a bath as these flats have no washing machine.
On that note, I’m off for the night watch again.
